The ESVBOA has served high school sports officials in the Metropolitan Detroit area since it was established in 1980. The emphasis of the association is on training and mentoring volleyball officials. The ESVBOA has worked closely with several leagues and assignors throughout the area. Please consider becoming a member of the ESVBOA. Please also note that officials must be members in good standing of an affiliated MHSAA approved association in order to work advanced levels of MHSAA tournament games.
It is understood that this does not constitute any type of employer/employee relationship nor does it indicate you will automatically receive assigned games just because you are a member. It does help, however, with contacts with trainers, assignors, and schools that may work together with those who are part of the ESVBOA and serves an integral part of the MHSAA’s structure to help with the enlistment, instruction, training, and development of officials used in MHSAA contests
